The corporate approach to menopause is changing. With new UK legislative requirements approaching in 2027, ad-hoc policies and informal support networks are no longer sufficient. Menopause is a significant scientific transition that impacts cognitive endurance, cardiovascular health, and musculoskeletal stability. Managing this within a high-performance corporate environment requires evidence-backed interventions, not just awareness.
This is why we created Pillar Point Menopause Coaching. We bridge the gap between occupational health requirements and daily employee wellbeing by combining high-level scientific research with practical, daily implementation.
The Scientific Foundation
Effective intervention requires a deep understanding of human physiology. Alison brings a 35-year background in scientific research, ensuring that every protocol we teach is grounded in fact. Alongside her extensive research expertise, Alison integrates Therapeutic Pilates to address the physical biomechanics of the body during the menopausal transition, focusing on functional strength and core stability during the workday.
Advocacy and Application
Understanding the science is only half the solution; applying it in a high-stakes environment is the other. Emma brings over five years of experience in healthcare advocacy at the UK and EU parliamentary level, ensuring our programmes align with high-level policy and self-advocacy frameworks. Furthermore, as a professional performance sports chef and one of only six Master Trainers for the International Hypopressives Council in the UK, Emma translates scientific needs into practical action. This includes teaching accessible pelvic floor rehabilitation and macro-nutrient fuelling strategies designed to prevent midday energy crashes and regulate the nervous system. Together, we provide a structured, scientific, and highly practical roadmap for companies and their employees. Over the next 12 weeks, we will be sharing specific insights from our programme. We will cover the biological realities of menopause, the hidden cardiovascular risks, and the exact breathing, movement, and nutritional protocols required to maintain health and productivity in the workplace.
